The Kiloutou group has acquired the companies COFILOC and EURONOL, which specialise in the rental of lifting and earthmoving equipment in Northern Italy. This operation enables Kiloutou to take the next step in its international development plan by entering the Italian market.
COFILOC and EURONOL are key regional players in equipment rental in the provinces of Veneto, Emilia-Romagnia, Lombardia and Friuli, with a network of ten agencies, located notably in Treviso, Verona and Modena, and a workforce of more than 90 staff. Specialists renowned for their expertise and extensive range, these two sister companies come with a fleet of almost 4,000 machines (loaders, diggers, aerial lifts and elevating platforms, etc.), complete with a stock of cranes, which it provides to a clientèle of industry, construction and public works professionals.
This acquisition enables Kiloutou to enter a market whose size and opportunities for growth make it a key location in Europe. Kiloutou will draw on the experience and expertise of COFILOC and EURONOL’ teams to continue developing the business through internal growth, new agency openings, and acquisitions. The current founders and directors have decided to maintain a high-profile role in the company, covering the major operational activities, and confirming their presence on the board of directors.
This acquisition enables Kiloutou to follow its announced international development plan, entering a market that shows strong potential. COFILOC and EURONOL’s location in Northern Italy and their excellent reputation make these companies a particularly well-adapted foundation for building a leading rentals platform in this very fragmented market. I would like to give a warm welcome to the 90 staff joining the Kiloutou Group from COFILOC and EURONOL.

The president, founder and majority shareholder of COFILOC and EURONOL said of the move: “I’m delighted about the Kiloutou Group’s acquisition of COFILOC and EURONOL. It will enable both of our companies to enter a new phase in their development, combining our strengths and teams with those of a European leader, whilst continuing to offer our clients the excellent service upon which our reputation is based. I believe strongly in Kiloutou’s development plan for this market, which our family has decided to actively support, maintaining operational management of the group’s new branch in Italy.”
This move is part of the Kiloutou’ Group’s active campaign to boost development, through regular organic growth and the continuing pursuit of external growth. Internationally, it is an extension of the development strategy undertaken in Poland, Spain and Germany over the past 4 years.
